For those in a marriage, how many of you are still in it due to various reasons but Love not being one of it?

I ask because I have two friends who both live with their respective partners but are still together for other reasons. One is due to sharing an apartment and neither wants to leave the closeness to the city center nor can afford it, and other enjoys the sex but their is no love between each other.

For me both stupid reasons but guess everyone has their own reasons.

I think if people were actually honest ( which they will not be ) , its would be many of them , marriage has an 80% failure rate , but only about 50% actually divorce , this is mainly for financial reasons , children , or some of the reasons you mentioned.

But , I'm with you , its pretty silly reasoning. There is even a car advert that features same ( Australia ) .

I love my wife but I neither married my wife nor stay married for love. My primary motivator is responsibility. If I only loved my wife, I wouldn't have married her in the first place.
