At the same time you don't share physical or emotional intimacy with your partner anymore and it has been like that for a long time now. You don't have kids also

Yes, you fix it , running to someone else is not going to save you , no relationship is perfect , every relationship goes through ups and downs , If you aren’t being intimate and affectionate with your spouse anymore , who’s fault is that? It is more than likely your fault because you are investing time into this new person instead of investing your time with your partner , making you a selfish person investing time to this new person, You need to focus on your marriage and invest your time and energy into your spouse , No one said relationships were easy but the key to true love is standing by your partner no matter what obstacles you face , and removing selfishness for each other , that’s how love grows , Work on bringing the spark alive in your marriage over thinking someone else

No I couldn't and wouldn't stay in it. Even if I didn't find someone else I wouldn't stay in it . the best relationships are when you give all of your self to your partner and vice versa I cannot just exist with somebody I want to provide and give and to share that love and you want to be able to feel that heart and your heart together is one if it's not one then you have somebody else trying to control how you should feel what you should be doing instead of working together with each other
This is one of my worst fears.
On the one hand marriage is a really big responsibility especially if kids are involved.
On the other hand life is too short to live it unfulfilled. Just make sure you remember that the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. That person might not live up to what you romanticised them to be. Your spouse made a vow to stay with you for life…. not a lot of people would do that for you.
You will experience this rotation in every relationship. Ultimately, there will come a day when you stop having bubbly feelings for the new person too. Instead of worrying about the what ifs with the new person, try to rekindle what you had with your current partner. If that doesn't work, move on.

I'll try to make it work but for some reason if it's just not working then why would I and why would anyone stay, I doubt I'd ever marry so wrecklessly tho.
u I woukdnt allow myself to start growing a emotional attachment with someone else whilst married if I was unhappy in my marriage I would try to fix the issue and if it couldn't be fixed I would end it before looking for someone new
Absolutely not. If i'm married and it's not flicking a spark anymore, of course I'm gonna try. But if i've tried everything i can and it's not clicking for SOMETHING... probably ain't gonna waste my time anymore.
Yeah. If you're going to dip out of marriage just because you don't feel like it anymore, then you need to stay on the streets where you belong.
For me yes, vows before God are binding to me, that's not something I think I have the right to impose on others, only myself. Why I'll be VERY cautious.

I would never base a marital commitment on "feelings" in the first place so I will never have to worry about that.
