Women are glory hunters... in sporting term a "Glory Hunter" is to follow a team or a sports person who is doing really well... Women are glory hunters in my opinion. Marriage is such a hateful, corrupt, archaic and oppressive institution… it should a been abolished years ago! And love? It's magical comfort food for the weak and the uneducated. Love to me is a myth. Women don't want to be with a man because they love him.

I was burned badly in a divorce and realize the system is stacked against men. Feminists don’t know what “patriarchy” is: the only two elements of patriarchy that are left are alimony and selective service. However, I find this take to be too cynical. Not all women have the mentality you describe. You can get a pre-nuptial agreement. I would advise any man or woman considering marriage to do this instead of leaving things up to the whims of a judge. With so many men unwilling to commit, a man who will take a little bit of risk to find love stands a good chance of finding a wonderful woman. There is a risk of loss, even a risk of victimization, but if you find a woman who really loves you for who you are it is amazing. MGTOW poses the risk of growing old alone during a time in which there is little sense of community, increasing social instability, and older people with nobody to care for them are often treated poorly.
There is no risk-free path in life. Choose your poison carefully.
I believe in unconditional and true love BUT it's definitely NOT applicable in this human world. I have felt this energy for my fictional character. I've dated an ugly loser even if I'm 9/10. He didn't even spared a dime for me, was poor, lazy, dumb, had no goals. I was with him because I thought he at least loved me and was loyal. I was on top of my game, was ambitious and ready to be the breadwinner, but I left him because of his constant lying and shady secrets that got revealed.

I must say that for a man ”ran away” and ”never looked back” you spend a lot of time looking back and thinking about women and marriage.
MGTOW is fine to a certain extent. There are women who agree with the MGTOW movement and standpoints that lie within too. I agree with the movement up until the point it becomes close-minded and simply ignorant towards rational thought and morals that aren’t based on too much time spent on the internet rather than in personal situations and interactions. It’s not like 100% of marriage turns into a divorce, and that’s for a reason. Know your worth, have your standards and you’ll find someone worthy of your time and effort.

After WW1, there were a huge number of men that could not have a relationship with a woman, in nearly all cases it was down to PTSD and depression. They would try having a relationship and it would fail, they did not blame women for it, they knew it was themselves.
All you get is guys these days moaning about it, going back 5 years I never heard guys moan about it. Yeah they got divorced, moaned like shit but then got on with life.
Also there is zero reason to get married, there never is a reason to get married, you can live with someone in a relationship and have exactly the same life as if married.

Anyone who tells you that everyone will find a good partner to share his life with is lying to you. Some people, for many different reasons, will never find it. What I think is weak is to simply assume that most people of an entire gender are evil. That take away the responsibility from you. It's easy that way isn't it? They are all this and that, automatically takes away all the pressure from you to them. If you think like this you don't have to have qualities and work on yourself because in your head you will get screwed over anyway. This way of thinking is a way out and a copying mechanism. Nothing more.

After see so many guys you know personally get broken in half it's hard to ignore the truth. For many years I was in denial about it thinking oh it's not that bad. But my red pill moment was when I saw my 70 year old father ruined by his second wife. His entire lifes work down the drain along with his retirement savings. He had to go back to work in his 70s. Someday You will likely have an experience similar to that and then you will not be able to bury your head in the sand a d pretend the problem is not there.

Doesn't pay a cent. Goes to court and court says he has to pay. He appeals the decision. Every time he has to pay he does this. Forces the mother to pay lawyer to make him pay what he is due. Again and again! Ends up paying almost half of what he should by the time kids are 18.

@iBeowulf but there are deadbeat mothers. Actually is around 70% of divorces are started by women. Did you also know that in 51% of all divorce both, the father and the mother, agree that the child should be with the mother? So only 41% of times there is a dispute for the children. And fathers gets custody around 21% of times. Nearly half if all disputes. You want to complain that women never pay anything? Get fathers to fight for the kids. That restraining order idea... I don't know if in some US states it always does works or not, I can tell you in most of the world doesn't. I can understand why. Marriage used to be a must socially. Now it isn't people can chose what they want to do and this is what they want.

No it isn't. Even when the wife goes to the police with bruises most of the time they send her home because there aren't enough evidences. Case and point, in my country in 2019 nearly 30 women who had already asked the police for help were killed by their husbands, in just three months.

But I never acknowledged that they were the majority. And I said that what can also happen is that the father's just don't want to have to go through the work of raising a child.
