How would you act if you were afraid that a certain person could reveal a secret of yours?

If you had a suspicion that someone you’re not too close with found out a secret about you that would definitely harm your reputation, career or personal relationships with other people for instance that you cheated on your phd thesis or your partner, that you slept your way to the top etc. Would you try to intimidate or tease/mock them in some way? Or would you try to dig up dirt on them, follow them around etc. How would you act and how would you try to find out if she knows about your secret?

Omg this made me laugh so damn hard because a girl right now is getting the shit exposed out of her‼️ She bullied this girl heavy and messed around with her husband, and everybody else husbands. She messed around with people in order to get to the top. People exposed the shit out that girl and other people kept it going. All she did was fuck with people, bullied them, and etc. the wives and all chimed in! at that moment she knew she fucked up lol
