It has made me a different person, but I wouldn’t say for the better. Each time I have loved I have had my heart broken. I would keep trying to move forward, but each time my ex’s would move on quickly or even date others before we were through. I’d say it has made me cynical, doubting and closed to the world. When I was younger I was flirty and fun to talk to, now whenever a guy shows interest I assume it’s all lies. Maybe I need therapy, I don’t know? But If I could cancel out my past and start afresh I would :)

It would have to be genuine to even attempt to change me. Too many people have underlying intentions and that just fcks up everything you felt for them. I still value love. I just rarely believe its real after how people switchup outta nowhere

I’ve gotten better at delivering tough love as a person as I’ve gotten older.

The acid test to know if you are delivering tough love is the fact you get absolutely no enjoyment out of delivering. Tough love is tough to deliver. No feelings of condescension. No feeling of ventilating your own problems. Definitely no feelings of “superiority”. No. Nothing about tough life is about you personally. It’s 100% about wanting to help the other person.

God's love (Christ) gave me freedom to heal from fear and I began to go towards people than away from.

Loving my wife and wife loving me, gave me thankfulness.

Learning to love has taught me patience and compassion.
