Would you forgive your partner if they cheated on you?

The ever recurring question but the reply is always the same.

Once a cheater, always a cheater, regardless of the proof that they give and regardless of the gender.

Once you tasted blood, you always go for it. The same is true for cheaters. Given the right incentive, the right conditions and the right time, they will fall back into that old habit.

The very same applies basically to smokers, drug addicts, gamblers and others that have an addiction. You raise the stakes high enough and you have your incentive to fall back.

Therefore, I do not believe one minute that there is no risk to get back to the old habit. What about in 20 years from now when you are not so pristine anymore and that the guy is looking for a much younger substitute? Do you really think that the risk = 0? Absolutely not. Not today, not tomorrow.

Thus, no, I would never forgive my partner for cheating.
