Personally I wouldnt- that's like letting them get away with it!

when my ex bf cheated on me I was so angry and upset I keyed his car and when I went over to get my jacket back from his house I baked a nice batch of chocolate brownies with laxatives :) I know- I should have used a hammer to bash his face in

I am not fond of cheating at all. However, if someone cheats on you... they did you a favour... they have demonstrated to you how weak they truly are. What is the point of being in a relationship where only one person is honest and true. Obviously, if that persons cheats they did not really care for you in the first place.

If you are a person of character and you did not ever cheat on them because you have a conscience then koodos to you. You are one of the few that can stand proud about who you are!

Don't stoop to their level though... keying their car only gives them fuel to say something negative about you. Yes it feels good in the interim and he likely deserved it, but it gives him an easy out that he can blame you for his indiscretions. Just be proud and take the high road! You always have the satisfaction of knowing you were not the weakest link in the relationship.

I let my partners sleep with whomever they want to, so if they were to cheat on me, it would be unforgivable and really just plain stupid. Why go behind my back and lie to me and betray me when I would allow you to sleep with whoever you wanted to anyway?

The answer to this question is to complicated for me to answer in the pole. It really depends. My BF cheate on me, but only by IM with a man. This happened after our firsts big argument. He is a very sensative man. I should not have called him names. I was just am he had lied and hi things. Instead of telling me I hurt him, and talking to me about it, he did a bad thing. He was sexual with a man online. I knew he was Bisexual. I am to. The only problem was his promise to be loyal was broken. I he has sex with someone then I woul be gone. He was honest to me, and I got him to realise it is better to express your feelings than cheat. Ever since then I have not felt suspicious one bit. It did take me so Long to even half way forgive him. I am now to that point.

This is a difficult one for me, my husband as only one sexual partner, me, I have had many (not saying) so I would be shocked if he did, be hurt, but would forgive, however he whats a total penectomy this year so that will stop any of that, and for me cheating, I have not, through the last year as my husband transition to becoming a eunuch he has except I have need an would not object to me having extra marital sex ( have a boyfriend) I have said and understand his reason, but we are in this together.
So far as cheating, then it depends on the relationship.

Absolutely not, but then again we've been together for at least a fourth of my life now, and I do feel some sense of loyalty to him, so I don't think I'd do anything crazy to get back at him. I gotta say though, I love your brownie method. :)

I actually think I could possibly, but we'd still have to break up because my trust for them would be gone. Even if I wanted to I doubt I'd be able to ever trust them again and I refuse to be in a relationship with someone that I couldn't trust.-but yeah keying someone's car is NOT cool, I don't know why so many women think their heartbreak is enough reason for damaging someone's personal property, I hope he gets you arrested or you're forced to pay for the damage.

If we are just dating then I would leave as soon as I found out, no chance of reconciliation but I would forgive them someday hopefully.
If we have children and we're married It would depend on the situation. If they had sex, how many times, a full blown affair, multiple people? If it was too much I would leave, but if it was once and they regretted it and weren't just caught in the act I would try to make it work. But our relationship would never be the same.

In a healthy relationship you need trust. Once that trust is broken, it's over. Plus, I deserve way better than to be with someone that doesn't care enough about me to control himself and keep it in his pants. Cheating doesn't make any sense to me. If you're unhappy, leave.

I won't forgive him, but I wouldn't do the things you did. I would be like "okay we're done." Go home. Watch a movie or something and might cry my eyes out and give him the silent treatment. If he would search contact I wouldn't answer (on phone or text) and if I see him in real life I would act normal. It can really drive people crazy and you're actually the bigger person.

It isn't about forgiveness for me. I have been cheated on, and I wasn't angry. I simply couldn't trust or respect them after that. It was like everything I felt for that person was just gone. There was nothing to motivate me to want to try and work through the relationship. There is no point in remaining in a relationship with someone you can't trust or respect.

Or it depends on how it affected him. If he feels REALLY guilty about it and it hurts him more than i t hurts me, then I guess I could forgive him. It would take a long while for me to trust him again.
