However he is sweet and he is ok with you doing whatever you wish to do
Would you still choose to work because you love it or would you stay at home?

Trending & News My wife actually gave me that option. She said she'd voluntarily become a full-time housewife if I wanted her to become one after marriage. I refused.
My wife continued to work as a book editor and publisher which actually made me really glad, but not for the income. I'm hardly rich as a software engineer but she makes less than half of what I do, relatively speaking.
It's because I love her passion for her work. It has her reading new manuscripts all the time, and that always generated a lot of interesting conversation material.
She also had to study all her life to become a Japanese literature major, work all the way from a lowly intern to lead editor, and so the idea of her giving that up on my behalf would have weighed heavily on my conscience.
A lot of it is for selfish reasons on my part. My type of woman that interested me most are ones passionate about something, although not for the income they bring.
For example, suppose I married an illustrator who had a lifelong passion for drawing and painting. However, she got burnt out doing it commercially and wanted to quit her job. I'm absolutely happy to support her there on my dev salary. It's enough for the both of us.
Despite that, I would want to make sure to have a room in our house as her private studio for her to become a fine artist and continue drawing and painting whatever she wanted. It doesn't matter to me that she gets zero money from it. All that matters to me is that she continues with this lifelong passion, that she never sacrifices it on my behalf, because I would legitimately find that disappointing.
I can take on my share of the domestic work in exchange. I'd much rather do that than see her give up her lifelong passion.
Depends on the woman
There are lots of women who love their job and would wish to continue even if it wasn't financially significant for the family
My wife belongs to that category
She wanted to be a bakery owner despite me being rich af (inherited)
Well I too joined the army despite being rich
I wouldn't work during pregnancy and while rearing the child until she/he is at least 3 years old and able to go to school. I don't like the idea of having a nanny. Other than that I would work because I love going out of the house every day, making a difference, getting rewarded for my work, contributing financially, dressing up, getting ready etc.
The idea of being a housewife seems boring to me, especially because an affluent or even upper middle class Indian man would certainly have a helper/cleaning lady so basically I would be bored without anything to do the whole day.
I have thought about it if I could be a stay at home wife to take care of the kids and house, I wouldn’t mind and may love it. But I think my heart has too much passion for the world… so I would still wanna work to make an impact while still being a good wife and mom.

I'd only be OK with my wife doing that if we had kids together.
I'd prefer someone that works... and can make a living of their own
but I would also be okay with it if they didn't, I could take care of the rest financially... as long as they're doing something else with their lives and not just watching novelas all day, lol
If my husband earned a lot, I'd want to ask him if we could create charitable foundations to serve the public good in both our names: managed by me and boards of directors. That'd be my chosen job. To contribute to the arts, education and the environment, by managing such funds.
Stay at home? Never. Too much to do and change in the world to make it better for us all. And too much fun and gratification by doing the former.
No I don't because I enjoy what I do and the people around me at work. My husband does earn enough to keep our family very comfortable, but I also think that me working has in some ways helped in keeping us so close and loving couple.
Wife response: that is my situation my husband (account creator) asked if I wanted to work years ago. I choose not to and it has been a fantastic life so far. My husband retired a few years ago and we now spend our time together and with the 3 beautiful children he gave me
No, only stability what I need and if I can get from him with respect I'll prefer to concentrate my energy more into raising my family well. That also needs a lot of work.
Yes I would still work if we had kids if find a stay at home job so I can take care of the kids.
Literally my situation. Yes I do still work. Because I want to. He is fine with either one of my choosing.
I would choose to have a career, definitely. With kids I do think it's nice to be able to be home with then during the early years..
No I would take care of the household and children which is work within itself.
@Simslover92 if you have children, I know that you are working hard
Aww thanks 😊 I definitely would be.
I'll choose to be a good traditional housewife and be a great homemaker
I do love my job but I'll leave the job and be a good wife
I'll cook for him, clean the house, look aftet the kids, do laundry, give him a massage after he returns , you got me thrilled lmao 😍
Oh definitely. I enjoy my job and it's one of the most important things in my life. It's part of who I am.
I already don't work. I take care of the home and spend my time with him around his odd work hours. When we have kids, I'll be homeschooling.
Yeah, I'm gonna be a teacher. Double the income coming in
I’m not gonna quit my job because I like doing it
@The_Sexpert only if he insists that I quit
What happens if you have a disability and can’t work?
If we had enough money to be comfortable, I probably wouldn't work.
Yes, of course.
No why would they , they'll pull out motherhood is the hardest job card
Yes if i found a work i would enjoy
Lol the question asked the opposite
I would. To challenge myself. To keep improving.
