I know we've only been officially together for about 11 months now but I know I want to be with him for the rest of my life. He's asked my ring size and what type of ring I want yesterday. We also talked about our wedding. I'm growing impatient and I know I shouldn't because these things take time but dammit I'm ready to take our relationship to the next stage.

I love him. Like so in love with him and yesterday just made me fall even harder in love with him when we spent the day together. I don't care if the ring is not that much, I just want to be engaged to him already.

No you're not wrong. I've heard of proposals happening within 7-10 months of the relationship.

If he's asking about the ring size and talking about the topic with you, those are great signs. It's said that men already know if they want marriage with you within 6 months into the relationship. If he starts delaying things for whatever reason (the government, my foot has fungus, it's just a piece of paper, I need more time, blah, blah blah) then he won't marry you.
