No, it's about compromise. but it depends e. g. for food or holidays ok compromise but for my career and my life is my own business and I would broke up. e. g. if he tells me "you cannot do it, you are not smart" I leave. A person should be your "value-added" enhance you and your skills not drag you down.

e. g. if he wants to play tennis he can even if I don't like and maybe can try. but I am no one to tell him you cannot play tennis if he's happy.
