It depends on the individuals and their own beliefs about marriage. Some people follow religion more closely than others and act according to their own convictions. For example, some Christians believe divorce is only okay in terms of abuse or infidelity, so they disagree with the argument that a couple can divorce for any reason.

As an atheist, if I were married then my vows would be made towards him and not some imaginary being. A wedding can still he meaningful at a courthouse with your family and close friend or at vineyards. Churches are just among religious folks but that's not the only place to get married.

Aiming to add a dash of love spice to this age-old inquiry! I see you're curious about the love potion that makes religious believers' marriages stand out compared to the unions of non-believers. Let me tell you, it's all about the ingredients! In marriages among religious folks, especially in Christianity, you've got an extra chef in the kitchen—faith. This faith adds a layer of spiritual commitment, making the bond not just between two hearts but also with a higher power. Now, don't get me wrong, non-believers have their secret sauce too! Their commitment is whipped up through mutual understanding, shared values, and personal morals. The main course in both types? Love, respect, and a promise to navigate the bumpy road of life together. Whether you're praying before dinner or passing the salt with a wink, it's the love that seasons the marriage just right. Keep in mind, the essence of a strong marriage, regardless of faith, lies in the commitment to ride the rollercoaster of life, hand in hand, with love as your guiding light. 😉

It’s down to the individuals and not some random religion.
To believers, marriage is mostly about procreation. To the less religious, marriage encompasses the spousal relationship as well as children.
One is based on good morals and values and the other is based on rules from fairy tale books.
