How much of a deal breaker is being distrusted?

For me it's a total deal-breaker. I don't care who wronged you in the past nor whatever phobias you have. Don't take it out on me, an innocent party. If I did absolutely nothing to deserve your distrust, doubts and/or fear, I'm done. I don't have time for this.

Lack of trust is a total deal breaker for me. I wouldn't put up with it.
It's the same as lack of respect.

If someone doesn't trust their partner, it means they don't really know them.
Or it may mean that they are with someone for some reason who isn't trustworthy. Why would you stay with someone you didn't trust?

Bottom line: If my partner wanted to spy on me, I would dump them. They are either narcissistic or jealous, insecure and controlling. They, themselves, aren't trustworthy.
