Why does my boyfriend check his ex's twitter?

I've been with my boyfriend for 7yrs and we have child together. Never any chats about marriage but I am happy with this. I have noticed over the past few weeks he has been checking his ex's twitter daily. I'm not sure why. She is now married and has kids and looks very settled. I have sometimes wondered if he is still In love with her and asked him once but he was drunk and didn't answer. Anyway should I be worried or just leave things and let him just carry on being curious?

I don't think it should be taken seriously at all. I check my exes' profiles just to see what they're up to, and I definitely don't have feelings for them.

If you can't help but be worried, ask him about it. Avoid being dramatic/accusatory though, you don't want to turn this into a fight if there's really nothing to fight about. I personally would just talk to him about OUR relationship and leave the ex/Twitter thing out of it, because ultimately, all I would need is reassurance that he's happy with me.

if he's with you, I wouldn't worry. we all hold old flames I'm sure you do too. its not something to fret over tho its not like he's cheating at all even emotionally. he has spent a lot of time with this person its not something you just let go, you check up on them because you still care for them but that doesn't mean youd leave anyone for them or even would be with them if you were single. I don't think he wants her back he's just curious and misses her from time to time that's all

Try to bring it into conversation and ask him why he does this.

He may be comparing life with her. He can see that she is happily married with her children.

He may be thinking about his old life and new life. Ask if he has an problems in your marriage and try to relax. Innocent untill proven guilty :)

You've been with him for 7 years, he is probably just reminiscing about his past. That is allowed you do it too right? Don't worry . Only start worrying if he starts stalking her outside her house or something but she has kids and a family so he wouldn't be doing that.
