Ohhh so my ex boyfriend suddenly followed me on twitter?

This is probably gonna sound stupid. He broke up with me around 8 months ago, finally have started to get over him after a horrible break up. We go to the same college so we see each other a little bit but it's extremely awkward.
He didn't have twitter, so I blocked him on all social media sites to kind of start fresh, however he's just created a twitter account and I was one of the first people he followed? Including all of his friends? I'm a little confused, I thought he wouldn't have wanted to follow me at all, let alone search my name on there. Kind of weird right? Why do you reckon he's doing this?
