My husband constantly yells at me for always lying. Even the simplest things.

OK let me explain. You said in your update he yells at you, even for the simplest of lies.. which means to me something as simple as yes I have my coffee in a cup, then he spots you drinking out of a mug and screams at you.. Hence the triviality.
Now then what if he's not really having a go at you for that, and he is feeling resentment towards you for something else, BUT he is too weak to confront you with it.. therefore he shouts for something as trivial as the cup or mug. Whether he has reason to or not that is for him to explain.. I'm only wondering if THAT is the reason..
