How many false accusations of cheating by your partner could you deal with before you decide to end the relationship?

I generally don't like being falsely accused, but on the subject of cheating, I'm too loyal to consider they're being serious. After my then Reason For Living dredged up a second time th long blonde hair she'd seen on my overcoat, I asked her out of genuine concern if she really thought I was cheating on her. (I think she feels threatened by blondes, too, which took me a while to piece together.) She said no, but then she could be conciliatory, so I don't know if she was still suffering in silence. I was concerned about her suffering, and that she might feel betrayed, rather than about my getting credit for being good.

On the other hand, for all I know she put the hair there to test me. That would be rich considering all that she did behind my back. But then maybe fidelity was such a foreign mindset to her that she couldn't imagine that others think differently from her and can't help but be true.

Another SO would say, "Be good," when she'd go on business trips. It wasn't until after the relationship that it occurred to me she thought I was such a hot item that I could pick up with someone else so quickly, or that she thought I was the cheating kind. That she cared in that way was a little annoying, considering how she put zero effort into far simpler ways of keeping me from straying.

I did not listen to myself when I met my wife... she had cheated so many times in her life that she suspected everybody, me included, and I should never have married her to begin with... She accused me of fucking my cousin, who came to visit,,,,,,, that was the last straw.

This is a trick question for me because I know when my partner is actually cheating. I could careless about false accusations, if you know your partner you know the real one's from the fake one's anyways. When you know it's false accusations it's not even a discussion to make because now it has become a distraction in your life, relationship, marriage or whatever.

Whatever it is your supposed to be focused on you can't think straight or press forward because of BS. Don't believe the hype!

I've been cheated on before, I probably wouldn't be able to handle more than twice.

Even though it's not a good look I would still probably snap on the person just because that hurts to be accused of it.

Honestly I probably wouldn't even want to talk to the person anymore and it would probably Doom the relationship.

Depends how bad the accusations are. I kinda like jealousy and possessive behaviour. So I'm used to comments from partners. And as I'm innocent of cheating I can laugh it off. And if it gets too much throw it back at him. BUT if the accusations result in him wanting you to change who you naturally are, stop dressing how you do, stop going places you go to, then nah. End it. Jealousy is one thing. Controlling another.

I think I'd pick less than 5 times. You can only put up with someone's crap for so long. I've watched my friends go through it and sometimes even reassuring isn't enough. I mean, if they do it 5 times, who's to say they won't do it more? Trust issues is valid, but it doesn't make a valid way to treat your faithful partner like crap. Especially when they've done nothing wrong.
