What is the biggest difference in how men and women love each other?

I’m curious, obviously each individual person is different but when you compare heterosexual relationships to same sex ones you see patterns. In gay male relationships the passion is fast and intense and exhilarating. In gay female relationships you see a depth of emotion and trust that takes a long time to build into something that seems more solid than the earth itself. With heterosexual relationships, I’m curious if you’ve noticed similarities between how men love women and how women love men.

I would argue that most people dont know what actual love is due to social convenience, entertainment and story depictions of love, and societal issues.

From what i have seen throughout my life is, people don't make the effort to actually get to know each other before starting a romantic relationship, they just look for the next thrill, and use each other until the thrill runs out, then they cheat on eachother and treat eachother like crap, then repeat the cycle. Men are treated as financial objects by women who want the luxury convenience, and sex, but none of the actual loving support, just lustful support (which is why a great deal of women treat a man differently when he shows his vulnerable & emotional side, trying what they can to get out of the relationshipeven if it hurts him). Many men use women as a sexual thrill until the sex gets bland, but expect the relationship to be like roommates with sexual benefits.

Love is built from getting to know each other on a deep level and supporting each other. Yes, romance has it's arguments, but it shouldn't be because of cheating and it shouldn't be yelling at eachother like angry monkeys. Communication is important whether big or small, and it's ok to walk away from a conversation and come back to it after calming down. The point of a conversation is understanding & compromise.
love is also understanding that you should say "no" to people giving sexual advances, even if they put you in the mood.
Love is like best friends with your roomate that has romantic benefits. You both do your part, make life fun for eachother, support eachothers vulnerable side, help each other see the toxic behaviors, and fix them.
Genuine Love and effort to reach that point, is something that I don't see much of in society. Its sad, but love is almost dead

Obviously every individual is different and some people act with more feminine traits and some with more masculine traits regardless of whether they're man or woman. The biggest difference in how men and women love each other often lies in their emotional expression and communication styles. They might find it challenging to articulate their emotions as openly as women and often use communication functionally, focusing on resolving issues or sharing information. In terms of affection and intimacy, women typically seek emotional closeness, bonding through shared feelings and conversations. They place a higher emphasis on emotional fidelity and connection. Men often express love through physical closeness and shared activities, showing affection through gestures, favors, and physical intimacy. The needs and expectations also differ, with women generally looking for emotional support, understanding, and validation, appreciating partners who communicate openly. Men often value respect, admiration, and acknowledgment of their efforts, appreciating partners who recognize and value their practical contributions to the relationship. Understanding and bridging these differences is key to a successful relationship.

I can only speak from a woman’s point of view. I feel as if I’m very passionate and I am very loyal and I probably love to. It makes me very in trusting and guarded. To the point where I stop dating or putting myself out there and I’m trying to be more open now but it’s kind of hard and I feel like I’m late and I’m only 29 and everybody’s getting engaged around me.
As for men, I have no idea how they love people. I know how my father loves me, but he’s just one person.

This scenario, which I've seen once or twice, may get to something fundamental about the differences. A man works feverishly to provide for a woman who he has built his life around. She complains that he isn't around to be supportive. The word "support" has different, even opposite, meanings to the two of them. One can put in a great deal of time and effort that goes unappreciated and misinterpreted.

The trouble with the Golden Rule is that how one wants to be treated is not necessarily the same as others want to be treated. Trying to adjust for that difference can be hit or miss. He acts polite, corrects logical errors, and restrains his hands and conversation from betraying an imagination that could scare her off. She cheerleads him, expressing belief he'll accomplish something that he didn't know she knew enough about to form an opinion one way or the other. She gets the idea he's a bore. He weighs whether she's insincere or sheltered.

I believe If the right match is made, both men and women love eachother unconditionally. But there is a difference in how men and women show their love to one another (and I feel like we often misunderstand each other).

I also believe social media plays a negative part in our (growing) expectations towards eachother. But I can be wrong. That’s just my own opinion

When they asked me for advice I told them to throw a dog and their women in the trunk of their car. I told them to let them stay in there for 12 hours. Let them out and see who is happy to see you.
