My boyfriend picks at his acne and washes his face with the same soap he uses for his body, which is not meant for faces. He also doesn’t wear sunscreen unless I put it on his before we go out. I want his to take better care of his skin, but I don’t want to be controlling or mean.

buy him some products: facial wash, witch hazel, facial sunscreen, etc. Use the facial wash when he showers and the witch hazel before bed and the sunscreen when going out. Point out the most common cancer in the US is skin cancer, and that premature aging of the skin is a thing for people who don't care for theirs
