The road I live on has only four homes in it, and we all get along for the most part.

The family next door is the one we get along the most - husband and wife around our age, their son and the husband's parents. Sometimes they come over or we visit them and in the summer we often eat all together in the garden, or have a pool party.

They are kind and tolerant too - we started renovating the guesthouse on our property and they don't mind the noise and the workers. We want to make a terrace with jacuzzi and I assured them they'll be the first we'll invite over when it's done.

Yeah. I am really good friends with people in my complex. It is an upscale place and. Most are super nice. We don't get together a whole lot but in the summer (starting now) we get together outside quite a bit. It's nice. Most are the same age or within 7 years of mine. we are friends with one couple that are great. I honestly wouldn't trade it for the world. Clean places and friendly environment. I know friends that have been desperately let down by others that they were thought were friends. They just decided to stick to themselves and their life. I get it. You can't win them all. For the neighbors I have they have been great no matter passing by or inviting foe a drink. Couldn't complain a bit. It only gets better in summer as I mentioned.

absolutely, yes... in Mexico, because well... it is Mexico, and some are even like family

on the Texas side... I do know them enough to get along well, but these are very few, and a completely different dynamic, it's still a good relationship though
