I like all my neighbors. Every fourth of July, our neighborhood has a big party and everyone walks house to house to have drinks and a bite to eat, play games and just talk. Then we have fireworks that we all chip in to buy. Halloween is also a blast! It's similar to the fourth, except everyone is in costume lol I can't wait to have kids and walk door to door with them.

The ones to my left are fucking assholes and nearly cost me $1000 a few years ago when they made me go to court over not having my grass cut because I didn't have a lawn mower.
The girl across the street from them is nice and friendly but, she never comes to visit or talk to me. I'm better friends with her mom and her uncle, who lives around the corner.
The woman on my right is KINDA friendly, I can go next door and have a nice chin wag with her for a while and I DO go check on her from time to time because she has some trouble walking but, she CAN also be a bit of a bitch if you don't know her. The people across the street from her just moved in last summer and the adults there don't speak a word of English. They have at least 4 kids and, from what I can tell, they DO speak English. So far, I've never had a problem with any of them. The guy that lived there before them was quite friendly and we got on well. The woman there before him wasn't so friendly, even though we used to be neighbors where I used to live 6 years ago!
Two women moved in behind him just over a year ago and, although we've never actually met, they seem to be quite friendly.
Most of the others have been here l most as long as "here" existed (the early `60's) and are SOMEWHAT friendly but mostly tend to keep to themselves and none have much of anything to do with me other than to wave hello if they see me. One guy on the corner helps me out from time to time and a new friend I just made a month ago is QUITE friendly and nice and lives just over the hill from me (a few doors away) but, because of medical issues, he can't get around very easily. He's having them dealt with in about a week. I play drums and he plays bass (I dabble in bass and keys, too) so, once he gets sorted out, we might try to do something, together.
So, basically, I'm here completely alone 24/7/365.

Addendum: at least in my old neighborhood, 4 miles from here, I'd sit on the porch for a while and people walking or driving by would wave hello, beep or even stop and talk for a bit! I could go over to their place and talk with them for a while, ask for favours, do favours, etc.. Up here, I get almost none of that!! I'll sit on the porch and several people will go by before ONE OF them actually says hello as they pass!!

I live in a dorm. So, we have many "neighbors". We get along with most everyone in our hall and on our floor.

I have no issues with my neighbors. We get along fine. Then again I can't see my closest neighbors house. It is about 1/2 mile away.
