Cheating wife. What happens to how children view their mother when they find out they cheated on their Dad?

Seems to be pretty common here in the US and the media is trying to normalise it. I mean when you look at the Brady vs Gisele divorce she justifies cheating on Brady because he continued to work 1 one more year before retiring for the next 50 years of his life, such controlling narcissism. My mother thankfully was loyal but as a kid growing up if I found out my mom had cheated with some guy and just thought she was going to slip this guy into my life in our family home with this guy sitting in my father's chair, watching his tv, drinking his beer, sleeping in his bed and playing Daddy to us kids well that guy would have a very bad time.

Be about the same as your dad cheating on your mother, be hurt but would have realized it was all part of life. However there are two things that would be hard to forgive mom or dad.
One if dads affair resulted in a half brother/sister.
Two if moms affair resulted in me, well that would be real hard to forgive, worst then having a half bro or sis.

For their sake take the high road and make it about something else. If she's cheating then thing weren't likely good before that.

Why make their mom look bad in front of them. Just let it go and make sure they continue to love their mom. After all she cheated on the husband not the kids.

Personally, I was in a relationship with a massive cheater… don’t share those details with those who have to share love between their parents as they watch a marriage dissolve into thin air. They’ll figure out right from wrong on their own. You won’t have to tell them.

children never really know their mom cheated on their dad because the mom is always the first to do damage control and influence the narrative as quickly as possible

even within traditional gender roles, the man is expected to "man up" and admit his cheating whereas the woman tries to cover up her cheating with excuses for herself or excuses given to her by the public and luckily she has plenty of feminist sisters and simps to defend her against the "patriarchy"

I don't know since that didn't happen with my parents, but the media and government does try to normalize cheating and promiscuity, which ruins family units, makes them more dependent on the government, and easier to control.
