What if the parents are still together despite of continuous cheating? Does this lead a son to believe that this behaviour is normal?

No I don't think so. Though I am curious as to why you aimed this question only at men/sons and not everyone, it's not as if only men cheat.

Just because a parent cheats doesn't make it acceptable, though the child may forgive them. If it leads to a breakdown of the family, then it could do the opposite and make the child even less likely to want to cheat on future.

I aimed this question to men/sons because this is the situation I am in. My father in law cheats on his wife. I thought that maybe it affects differently a son and daughter.
And in my situation his parents are still together and and he is very close to both of them especially to the mother

It does has effect the son for start he will learn to lie then he will think this relationship is the base for him to learn from so of course he will learn the way of his father. You should be more careful of sexual transmitted diseases for yourself.

Depends on the situation my dad was a cheater and abusive to my mum so for me being the father mine never was and a good partner is one of the most important things for me

It can do but more likely then not he would find out its not as he would see the hurt it causes in the family and how other parents don't
