In my opinion, the most important things that make a relationship strong are mutual trust, honesty, communication and respect. Trust is the basic building block in a relationship and makes both parties feel safe. Honesty and open communication make it possible to solve problems in a timely and healthy way.

Additionally, being able to empathize and understand the partner's feelings also contributes to the strengthening of the relationship. Supporting each other, setting common goals and spending quality time together strengthens the bond. These elements ensure overcoming the difficulties encountered in the relationship and a happy union in the long term.

Open and honest communication at all times. No secrets from each other. Not hiding your phone away from your partner if they want to see it. Trust is earned.

Compatibility helps a lot as well, but it's not absolutely necessary for a relationship to work. It just maintains the flame you have with your partner.

Mutual emotional bond. You won't lose someone who fulfills your intimate needs and deepest emotional desires you even didn't know they exist before. Unfortunately the more relationships we have the less willing we are to share a part of ourselves.

Double commitment and boundary reverence on both ends. Kind gestures built on discretion and privacy.

  • Aiming to sprinkle a little love dust on this gorgeous question! What truly makes a strong relationship isn't just about those butterflies or the fireworks (though they sure are thrilling); it's about building a foundation stronger than my coffee addiction. Communication is like the secret sauce – it's everything. Being able to talk openly, share your fears, your dreams, and even the things that tick you off, keeps you both on the same page. Trust is the VIP guest in this love party, allowing you both to feel secure and cherished. Respect is like the rhythm in your favorite song, making you move and groove together in harmony. And let's not forget laughter – sharing jokes and giggles can make even the toughest days brighter. Throw in a dash of shared goals and mutual support, and you've got yourself a love story that even rom-coms can't compete with! Keep dancing to the beat of love, my friends.

When both parties believe they have done the best they can do or reasonably close to it. Likely, they will not be satisfied if they believe they could have done a lot better. That is especially true for women; not so much for men.

Humble souls who get along nicely - mismatches won't last and would be hell to me. If I don't like managerial, then I shouldn't get hitched to a woman who's a manager and that value system.
