Do you think having friends prevents you from getting bored with your current partner?

Because you're interacting with other people on a regular basis. Yeah friendships aren't as close as relationships but there is some overlap between the two.

I think it just depends. But I think if people fall out of love it maybe isn’t meant to be. Just remember everyone is different. Some people are more reserved and only want to share their life with someone special

Yeah I think it's important and healthy. But it is hard. I haven't had much luck keeping friends and a relationship. Mainly because they don't like my partner and my partners tend to be jealous types and I also tend to get sucked into that bubble where all you want is to focus on your partner. But I want to try things differently in future.

Single. But I can’t be with someone if I feel “bored” with them lol. So usually I always feel intrigue and have fun with past relationships unless he stopped putting effort in certain areas. Friendships are also valuable and healthy while you’re in a relationship.

Nope. If you need a friend to pick up the slack from your relationship with a sexual partner then your relationship sucks. Usually for me when I’m with a partner, the time I spend with my friends goes way down. I attempt to interact with them when I can but if I’m in love my partner will be my priority and my best friend.

No you don’t need friends for that, but you sure do need a life, so your partner doesn’t get tired of you being around all the time because you have no hobbies

If you get bored of your partner you shouldn't be together. If you get bored of every partner then you are the issue. If every relationship bores you eventually then you are too immature for a healthy relationship
