We were together for 3 years but due to a business trip had to travel to another state. It was only going to be a brief LDR for 4 months at most. We would keep in contact through Messenger and a video chat once a week.

I got back on the 4th month, only to find out she's been cheating, 2 weeks after I left. She couldn't even wait for 4 months. That's not even 1/2 a year. Did I return for nothing? Taking the flight trip, packing all my stuff, spending money for nothing? I was going to surprise her too but nevermind. I'm heading back to the jewelry store with the receipt and requesting a refund. While at least I'll get refunded for that, It sucks I still wasted money on that flight.

Some people are just stitty like that, rather you find out sooner than later if she could not keep her legs together for 4 months that is very bad, it is not even that long time. You will find the right person just don't put up too many walls around you just because of someone who couldn't control themselves

Dude ldr's are not real relationships, and here is the rub, most women cannot be trusted to keep their legs closed for any amount of time, and they sure as hell never take responsibility for said cheating.

Yet in the old times, many women would be the one faithfully waiting for their man's return. It used to be her that would get lucky if the man returned. Now it's like tables have turned. I'm away working hard, saving more money, missing her every day during those months, going through all the hassles of returning back just to be with her, ready to propose (that was my surprise to her) and I get that in return. I was only away for 4 months, not long. She knew I was going to return soon.
In comparing to back in the day when a woman would patiently wait those 4 months or more, missing her love, now she's out there sleeping around the next day. So disappointed. So I wasted my time all those 3 years.
