He expressed his feeling about with everything going on in life with family, stress and work. He said I'm still OK to hang Thursday, but after maybe wants a small break. I respect his decision.

How long is a "small break"? What people's thoughts?

Hmmm from what I've seen with guy friends taking small breaks, it usually means 1-2 weeks with little to no contact.

Could be he's stressed and overwhelmed with everything going on and just needs some time to himself to recharge. Guys don't always process feelings as well haha.

I wouldn't take it personally. He said you're still cool to chill this week so it's not like he's cutting you off.

Maybe give him space for a bit, then hit him up casually after like 10 days or so. See how he's doing with everything and if he wants to hang again.

Don't blow up his phone though - he asked for a break so you gotta respect that. Keep it chill when you text back.

Honestly a week break means nothing usually. Y'all will be back to normal. He probably just needs a mental reset.
