You do you but I hope you are 18 and not 24 because it will be harder and harder to find someone who hasn't dated anyone the older you get. Its possible if your determined and patient enough, but you will rule out so many otherwise good guys. Meanwhile the guy without the ex also may not know some crucial things you learn in a relationship to make them function properly, so be careful what you wish for.

The ONLY caution I give you is as you get older that list of men without Ex's is going to get shorter and shorter. So while this may be a choice now it not going to be much of a choice later. And you run the risk of canceling some good men. This is the EQUIVALENT of men who do not accept women who are no longer virgins. I get why. But people of both genders make mistakes. Be careful that you're not demonizing a person for one mistake. People are not perfect.

Few hidden gems do exist, like a guy who really wants a girl to be compatible with him but has work / interests that girls don't have making it hard to meet singles. Especially if he's not into dating apps and for now still waiting to come across the right girl somewhere. That was me in my early 20's because I was to shy in middle school and once I gained more confidence there were no girls in my environment that were my age since I was young in the work force and the average female age there was 35 since I finished my education relatively early. The few girls I did like were already taken and in happy relationships. Eventually I found her of course so I also don't qualify for the asker but it does indicate there are exceptions who are knowledgeable enough to give other people advice for their relationships to keep those people together yet don't meet anyone. Finding those guys though will be insanely hard for her because of the original problem, they aren't around where she will be.
