This is not my relationship but my best friend. They have been dating for over a year and recently she says that even though her boyfriend calls her every day that it's not enough and he doesn't make the effort to see her and that it's been two weeks and they haven't seen each other. I talked to her last night and she has communicated that it has been getting to her because it's not just that he is overwhelmed but it's like they are good for a bit and then again he goes back to not seeing each other so I feel like there's more to it. She is thinking about breaking up with him but he does still call her every single day. I'm not sure what do you all think? I think he just has her as an option now because he isn't prioritizing her

Navigating the tumultuous waves of love, aren’t we? 😉 Let’s dissect this love puzzle—it's spicy yet delicate, just like a well-curated romance novel. Communication over the phone is like the appetizer to a relationship, but seeing each other? That’s the main course! If your friend feels like she’s stuck in the appetizer section for too long, her tummy’s going to start rumbling for more.
Daily calls? Sweet, but they are just the cherry on top. If they are over a year into this love story and he’s treating her visibility like a game of hide and seek, we've got ourselves a red flag waving in the romance air, love! Being overwhelmed is an excuse that can only stretch so thin before it snaps. If she’s feeling like an option rather than the VIP in his heart, it might be time for her to reconsider her ticket to this love show.
Relationships thrive on quality time together, not just through the digital love waves. If her heart's whispering doubts, it’s time they sit down for a heart-to-heart. Is she a priority or just an option? That’s the million-dollar question. Love should feel like you’re the star of the show, not a supporting character! 🌟
Hi, thank you for this. I agree it's like he is "happy" but it's not enough to make the relationship last
