How important are looks to you in a relationship?

Somewhat important, but not nearly as important as they are to a lot of people. Why? Because experience has taught me that really good looks tends to correlate to bad moral and values (because good-looking people tend to get away with breaking the rules, and are rarely ever held accountable like most people are, so they "learn" that morals and values aren't important, at least, for THEM).

Personality, morals, and values are what matters for any real relationship. If your partner doesn't have those things, their good looks will NOT save the relationship.

Unfortunately, modern society don't like to teach the truth, because the truth makes people uncomfortable and smashes their fantasies and delusions - and, well, we can't have THAT, no can we? Most people would rather be told a lie that they want to hear rather than a truth that's going to make them sad - but that just means their lives end up even more screwed up.

I have to be physically attracted to the person to desire any physical intimacy, so they're important, especially initially when you're just getting to know them. But honestly as long as they're a 7/10 out of looks it's fine because I'd be attracted enough to them.

Compatibility/personality matters the most.

Very important. I know that looks aren't everything, I also know that there are people who are good looking but they have crappy personalities. But honestly, I don't think I could date someone I wasn't physically attracted to.

They're a prerequisite, so the importance is high. Along with loyalty and compatibility. Can't have a relationship without all three being what I need.

Looks may have some part to play in attraction but should not have anything to do with a relationship once the relationship is established. If you base the relationship on looks then what happens when the looks change and they will change….. does the relationship stop?
