Probably not, no. The only non-violent, non-thieves I can think of that would be felons, are those convicted of drug-crimes! Over 100,000 people died because they O/D’d last year, including a lot of college students, many right here on campus! They weren't bad people, and they weren't junkies, they just bought a few Xanax or Adderall, either to help them study, or to help them sleep after they’d been up all night on Adderall. Yet they died because the adderall or Xanax they bought were either lace with, or made in the same basement as the fentanyl was, and one grain of it landed on the pill they took! I think drug traffickers and dealers, ARE murderers! I’m fairly libertarian on drugs, especially when one can get as drunk as they want every night, and the state makes money off taxing it. But fentanyl changed my mind. So no, I personally would've never dated (before I was engaged) a convicted felon. Also, because I will be a psychologist who deals with children, the state wouldn't allow me to hire a convicted felon, not even to answer my phones! I do believe in the road to redemption, as well as forgiveness. But I also know about rates of recidivism, and that many, many felons will reoffend! So I thank god that I’ll never even have to deal with it in the RW.

No. I have a hard enough time trusting people that aren't a convicted felon. I don't trust anyone anymore! Period!!

Years ago I would have said " no problem " then I tried in real life ( helping a few get a job ) they all sht in the nest so to speak , dating? Going back some years I dated a fraudster for 2 years , I didn't know at the time , very pretty , articulate , nice car etc., she has since done another 9 months jail , and honestly she was caught for about 3% of what she has actually done , so now = No and Certainly No , they always let you down , sad but true.

It depends what they were convicted of. If they were convicted of murder or a drug conviction I would say no. If the were convicted of tax evasion or if thy were arrested on Jan6th for protesting a stolen election I would be okay with that.
