Not exactly. One’s sun sign is rarely enough to get a full picture of a person’s personality. Astrology is a lot more complicated than most people think. Your sun sign and moon sign are both related to the day and month in which you were born, but just as relevant to that is going to be your rising sign, which is determined by the hour and minute of your birth. Not to mention everyone has a sign related to the alignment of the solar system at that time as well. It’s why a full astrological birth chart requires the day, month, year, hour, and minute of your birth in order to determine every facet of one’s personality. Your sun sign is kind of the baseline, the moon sign tends to be the facets of you that reflect those signs but also add much more to your life, your venus sign determines how you are in love, your lilith sign determines your shadow, and so on and so forth.

My sun sign libra, I’m very much a fan of a balanced life, but I’m not a flirty socialite I’m more of a homebody that prefers to read a romance book over going on an actual date. I also have a hell of a creative streak, which has to do with my moon sign being pisces. You’d be surprised how complex astrology can get when you really look into it.

I'm sure you're getting shot down with this question -- I'm not going to read all the guys' comments. Guys tend to think it's hogwash. Many women will say the same thing as well. For me, it's fun to look at, but I won't obsess over what some chart says I am. I know who I am.

@SugarSugarplum I believe I can take a few qualities of each sign and make it my own sign that actually resembles me.. but regardless I believe qualities are something you work for to make them part of you and not just because you were born in some month where the sun was two inches to the left or whatever that makes those qualities part of you just like that.. Nope, every person can be anything no matter what month they were born in, it's all a matter of what you do to change and better your personality to acquire those qualities and make them part of you;)

What they’ve done here is just list mostly positive characteristics with one or two negative ones which appeals to how most people would like to see themselves.

The genius in it is they tell people a particular astrological sign is theirs due to the time of their birth which is something society places great social importance on. So most people will only read their own report and none of the others which keeps them from realising that no matter when they were born, they will still relate in some way to any of these reports and develop an unconscious bias for it.

You have to take into account your sun, moon rising, your stellium, your degrees, your conjunctions. It’s not just your sun sign (month you were born). There’s natal chart calculators where you type in your birthdate, place, time that will give you the gist of everything
