What is your biggest regret about your past relationships?

Two specific things I did that I think contributed to her leaving me, I wish I hadn't done them. It was small things and in one of them I was panicking and in a very bad mental state due to sleep deprivation and being trapped in a noisy room. But knowing what I know now I could have avoided both of those situations.

Grown a lot since so once I am in a new relationship either with someone new or with a second chance I think I can make it work this time.

Being involved with a manipulative toxic narcissistic bitch. She got off on drama, loved to gaslight, lie, manipulate, start arguments and would push and keep pushing until she got a violent physical response from me which she got a thrill out of it and it made her aroused sexually. In the latter stages she would think nothing of throwing objects at me or hitting with a weapon. Then of course she could play the victim and she loved that attention, then she would be back to me that night looking sex and a few tjmes claimed i had forced myself upon her. Of course everyone believed the skinny little red haired blue eyed pale angel faced 5ft little hottie over the 6ft6 black man. Had to move states to get away from her because after I dumped her she went to the police claiming rape, bullying, domestic abuse, harassment, stalking, financial control, emotional abuse, theft, property damage etc.

I do find all of my regrets always term from my unwillingness to confront my own feelings and communicate clearly with others whether I’m romantic situations or other. you can mess up important opportunities real fast by ignoring your truth.
