Why do some men take the mick out of women using sarcasm? See below for example?

For example if a woman is changing career and getting another degree…why would a guy make a sarcastic comment about him not being able to stick to one thing when he’s clearly directing it at her.

Well... assuming that she is interpreting his comment correctly, and he is actually talking about her, people do that because we all view other people's lives in the context of our own lives.

He is looking at her decision to change careers in the context of his own life experience and he is making his comments based upon that.

If that's who he is, then he's viewing her decision to make a change in the context of his own lack of change. He might not think that making a change is a good idea for her? I don't know. It seems a rather presumptive thing to say to another person, but people overstep all the time.

He’s definitely someone that oversteps. It’s a free way decision for her as she’s currently in a dead end job and it’ll help her with her new venture to work for herself.
