u 1 yI'm poly so I don't care either way, but I feel most women would go for an "average" man who makes then happy and fulfilled rather than the small minority who focus on the superficial.

@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 Do you think those women end up settling because they're unable to keep a high value man?
- 1 y
No, personally, I don't believe in the idea of a "high value man/woman," but I do believe that if the concept did exist that they would see their partner as high value and right for them.
- 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 I'm speaking of reality, every woman is going to believe that the man that chooses here is HV because every woman believes she is special, however the world and other men of value dictate the actual value of the man. My question is if women settle w/ these lower value men because that's all they can attract or because they were unable to keep a HV man?
- 1 y
Well, like I said, I don't believe in the idea of "high value men".
But, let's play by your rules for a second and pretend it is a thing. No. I don't think they are settling at all. I think that they are just going for someone who is going to love them back equally. These "high value men/women" can get anyone they want and rarely are genuine in their love for a person. They just treat people as a resource for their own personal gain. That's not appealing to most people, so it isn't settling. It's going with the more attractive option. - 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 Lol, you don't have to tell me "you don't believe in HV men" Because as I said all women share that belief and I even expressed why. I know this because I'm a HV men that's been w/ numerous women providing me an opportunity to analyze female nature. W/ that said TY for your answer. You're saying that women aren't as likely to be equally loved by a HV man as they are from a more average man?
- 1 y
I mean, if you feel they exist, you're more than welcome to live that out, but a lot of us don't believe in it at all. Maybe the gold diggers do. So in that aspect, I guess some do, but it's definitely not all. If you really have been with a lot of women as you claim, then you must have something they want which makes them shallow.
I'm also saying that there are a lot of shallow guys out there who only care about self gratification as well. They are not the kind to settle down. - 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 I think I understand your confusion. It's not really a "feeling" as how females typically make decisions. It simply recognizing reality. As already stated twice, all women don't believe in HV, mostly because it benefits them to hold that belief. I'm a man so I can afford to hold onto that delusion in the face of evidence. In America, where I live people are required to pay mortgages, rents, car notes, light Bills, food and other resources. Men who can not only pay those necessities but also invest in themselves and increase their revenue hold more value to both society and women than those that cannot, this hierarchy plays out all the up to the top 1% of earners. What country do you live in?
Also are you making the claim that women wanting successful men makes them shallow? I would assume most people only care about self gratification. Do you get in relationps soley to benifit someone? - 1 y
I'm in America as well and yes in most cases it makes them shallow if all they care about is the money. If they are signing pre nups in the case of marriage, then I believe they are less inclined to be after the money, but only slightly so. That also works in reverse with rich women and opportunistic men.
I get in relationships because I'm in love. I'm not looking to get anything out of it other than mutual respect and admiration so it's a give and take, I suppose as opposed to a one sided take situation.
- 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 Nice. Remember that's a metric you introduced, I never said anything about women being w/ a man only for money. I agree w/ you about Pre-nups, especially the part about if the woman makes more money as studies show woman are almost 5x more likely than men to request Prenups when they make more money. This is good evidence for your Gold Digger belief. In general I don't think marriage has any real benifits for men, and have never heard anyone present a tangible one. I mean respect and admiration is a lot. So are you saying that makes you shallow because you a seeking those traits from someone?
- 1 y
Not if it's reciprocal. If I'm just using someone for the affection they show me or the attention they give me and not give any in return, then yes, it would be just as bad as gold diggers.
Well, if men care about the kind of thing (and a lot do), women can bring them their own children to be a continuation of their blood line. That would be one example. - 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 So you're saying if a woman uses a man for money and a man uses a women for sex then neither is shallow? You don't need to be married to have children. Is there an actual tangible example?
- 1 y
You don't need to be married, no, but it isn't really conducive to good parenting if you don't have two parents in the home in most cases.
I mean it's basically prostitution at that point so you tell me. ๐คทโโ๏ธ - 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 Again that's a metric you introduced. There is no corelation to between not being married and cohabitation. So again that wouldn't be a benifit. Do you have an actual benifit?
- 1 y
It doesn't matter what I give you. You are going to shoot it down anyway. You are jaded against the idea of marriage, so there is no point in me wasting my time expounding on the benefits.
- 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 That certainly is a position you are welcome to hold. Have you ever considered that perhaps all the benifits in marriage are for women which is why you and most women subscribe to the institution? And the reason why it's difficult for you to provide a benifit to men is because
1. You believe that men and women seek the same thing in relationships.
2. You inherently understand the importance of convincing men about the "value" of marriage. - 1 y
I mean, what benefits do men supposedly bring that women cannot do on their own since you are so confident that it only benefits women?
- 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 They obviously bring quite a few hence the reason you're advocating for marriage.
- 1 y
I'm saying they bring equal measures to a marriage, but you say no they don't, so I'm asking you to provide an example of what they bring that women can not do on their own.
- 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 Odd question no? If you're advocating for marriage then your actions show that men bring something or else why would you advocate for getting married.
- 1 y
You can dodge the question if you prefer. That's fine.
- 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 That's simply a tactic to deflect from the incongruency of your statement. You are the person that is advocating for marriage, apparently for both men and women, I've already stated that I don't believe marriage has a benifit for men, so why would I respond to a question about the benifits?
- 1 y
Nah, not deflecting just simply inquiring the same from you that you expect women to answer for you and it appears you have nothing so honestly I don't think it's fair that you request for that info when you yourself cannot answer it.
- 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 It's the inquiry that highlights your deflection tactic. That's an odd inquiry considering I've expressed multiple times that I don't believe there is a tangible benifit to men. Made even odder by the fact that you are the one making the claim that "THERE ARE BENIFITS TO MEN" Yet when asked to provide one, you failed. So in an attempt to deflect from that fact you pose a nonsensical question that completely changes the dynamic of the conversation. I expect if someone believes that there are benifits to an individual other than themselves that they are able to provide tangible benifits of that. Asking me what I think men bring is even more Ludacris considering you're advocating for marriage. If you're looking to get married so bad then it stands to reason that men obviously provide something, or are you making the claim that you don't believe marriage?
- 1 y
The deflection is real in your case. All I asked was for one benefit to women and you couldn't do it. Rather than go around in circles with you, I'd rather just quit while nobody is ahead.
- 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 Your more than welcome to feel however you like, however the reality is quite obvious. If you believe in marriage as you claim, and you believe you should receive a benifit in a relationship, then logic dictates that you inherently recognize the benifit that men provide to women, any unbiased viewer of this interaction will come to the same conclusion. TY for validating my point.
- 1 y
I didn't validate anything for you, but whatever you need to feel better about yourself. You dodged the question as you typically do. You have no ability to answer simple questions and that's fine if you are incapable of doing so. I made an attempt until I saw you weren't gonna debate in good faith.
Anyway, I'm not wasting anymore of my time with this. Post if you want but I'm not gonna bother reading it anyway. - 1 y
@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 Actually you did and TY for that. I think it's interesting to point out that your accusing me of doing the exact thing actually did. I introduced the statement that marriage has no benifit for men, to which you countered w/ the claim that marriage does benifit men, then you proceeded to fail to present one shred on evidence to back up this claim. In attempt to distract from this fact you as me a random question about what men provided to women in marriage as if I brought that up. This is a standard deflection tactic used by women when their feeling are hurt, my women do this all the time, however much like I have done to you, I call this BS out. Furthermore you question is strange considering you're asking what benifit men bring to marriage, while simultaneously advocating for marriage, which obviously men provide some value othwise why do you believe in marriage?

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yBegrudgingly share an exceptional one. Women will never be happy about having to share a man but it's better to her than the alternative. For most women today it's better to be 1 of 50 women in an "exceptional" man's harem than lower herself to a guy who's avg. Because these women believe they can change that man.😆
If anything it's at least entertaining to watch.
