It is true that when it is about their choices, women love lies and hate the truth. Are men similar except in different areas?

Women with high body counts hate being told men prefer virgins and low body counts.

Women age 30 hate being told that men prefer women age 20.

High income women seek high income men and they hate being told that high value and high income men don't care about their income. Especially, a 30 year old high income lawyer hates hearing that the men they want to marry will choose their 20 year old clerk over them.

Working class men hate hearing that all beautiful women are out of their league.

men and women aren't the same. I could say a bear and a sheep are similar because they both have legs but it's meaningless.

All we need to look at is the fact that if a grown woman willingly does something with a man today and then 5-20 years later changes her mind and cries victim, the man is considered an abuser. This tells you that men are expected to be more responsible than women. That women are only given the benefits of adulthood but not required to have the same responsibilities. Generally this is how it works. Exceptions prove the rule.

As a little boy (toddler even) and growing up, I NEVER once was allowed to skip being responsible. Of course a lot of people raise kids as if they were wild animals today so ymmv with how some guys act. But regardless of how they act, society is still going to punish them differently based on gender.

Jordan Peterson summed it best:

Growing up I lost out of several opportunities (short term) with (often beautiful) women because I hated lying. I am not good at it. If you lie once you have to keep on lying to back it up. Its a burden to carry and it weighs on my conscious. I hate bearing that guilt.

Now I might not bring up certain subjects and avoid mentioning certain topics. Might present the best (and honest) and most attractive aspects of myself initially. That’s not lying though. It’s sales which is not the same as deception.

But women make emotionally based decisions in dating. And some men have zero problem spinning up an quickly false and completely bullshit seductive narrative to illicit that response. What’s worse is sometimes the woman KNOWS he’s lying but she goes along with it because she just can’t avoid of the “feel good” illusion he spun up. She might even forgive him if he comes clean but again the false “feel good” image he created in the beginning got his foot in the door. Men know how fast women are when it comes to rejection so this why they do it.

Anyway I know not all women are like this. But still it sad and sh*tty about what they fall for when they are young and in their physical primes.

Reward a behavior and you get more of the behavior. Punish a behavior and you get less of it. Of course, men lie because they are rewarded with sex if they lie and punished by having sex denied if they tell the truth.

If a man lies and says, "You are the woman I hope to marry," she will reward him with sex." However, if a man tells the truth and says, "You are okay for sex when I'm horny, but you are too fat and ugly to marry," she will punish him by denying sex.

Which is absolutely true. Now a man doesn’t necessarily need to insult a woman by being honest. He could say “just to let you I am not interested in a relationship but would love to hook up”. But most women would get offended by that EVEN IF they deep down wouldn’t mind a hook up too. But they rather have a “feel good” lie to mitigate their conscious.

Anyway at my age this isn’t a issue any more. But being an honest guy in my 20s was frustrating. Disheartening to see guys lie through their teeth and successfully get action from it back then.
