How do you feel when two people of the same sex openly show their love for each other?

There are, sadly, a lot of countries where homosexuality is frowned upon or even forbidden. But I think that even in the countries where it is totally legal, there are still a lot of people who have difficulty accepting it. I don’t think it is age-related. I see and hear lots of remarks from people who assume it is an unnatural thing, both from young and older people.

Just a couple of weeks ago, I saw 2 young girls walking hand in hand. One of them had bought a bouquet of flowers for her partner. They obviously had something to celebrate, or it may have been a surprise gift. Anyway, I think I have never seen two people so in love with each other.

How do you feel when you see a similar situation? Does it seem awkward to you, or would you say it’s no-one else’s business but theirs?

And what if your own daughter or son came home one day and wanted to present his boyfriend or her girlfriend?

Anyways, when I see other same-sex couples I am generally extra happy for them. Here's why: I know the adversity you face when you are dating the same sex. Some days, it gets to be too much, and any day that is less than stellar, you generally go "stealth." I would just go oh they are gay.. and make my way away from them, since I find seeing that weird and gross and don't want to see them kiss if they do.
If my son or daughter came home gay I would be really disappointed but they are still my kid and I'd still love them.
