My boyfriend and I have been going out for sometime now but each time we argue, at some point, he loses his temper badly and although he hasn’t physically hit me, he throws things and, has even punched the wall a few times. He then threatens to leave me or rather tells me to go away and doesn’t want to see me again. Apart from this he is loving and kind and a good person. I unfortunately witnessed anger and violence in my family growing up and it makes me frightened every time I see this again. I know I’m not perfect and he says I provoke him, but I end up feeling like a nervous wreck and blaming myself. I’m sure people will say walk away but I would really like to try and resolve this and do the best I can. I have seen him lose his temper with his children too.
