How would you feel if someone who was 10+ years younger than you was interested in you?

There's a friend my wife who's 36 and had a 25 years old who's very interested in him. He is a professional photographer (he did the photoshoot for our wedding) and was mentoring/teaching this young woman who started to fancy him.

He is a bit concerned about the age gap, especially because he looks a bit older than his age while she's very fresh faced.

My wife told him the issue is mostly in his head - in her words, this girl holds a job and pays her taxes, so she's sufficiently grown up to know what she wants and since they really click well together and in his words they have the same values and interests, he might regret to drive away who might be the woman of his life because of this issue.

For larger age gaps, in my opinion the younger person needs to be at least 23 years old. Sorry, I don't believe people are adults at 18. And in that case, if a person 10+ younger than me was interested (if I were single) then I would gently reject them.

If I were a single 36 year old and a 25 year old was into me then I'd at least consider it. It might be difficult, because I'd definitely want children and soon, and how long would I have to wait for him to be ready? Besides, statistically these kind of relationships are more likely to fall apart. Of course it would all depend on the person, if I could fall for him etc. If I could then I'd likely disregard everything else as love tends to have that effect on people. Not an ideal scenario but depending on the person I might give it a go. 25 years old is mature enough to know what they want, but there still remains the fact our relationship is less likely last so I understand this guys' apprehension. At that age you probably want to do it right and not have to deal with any more heartbreaks.

I don't see where people are coming up with the age 18, the questions say she is 25. I don't think 25 is too young for a 36 year old man. I was 22 when I married my husband who was 37 at the time and we're 11 years and 2 kids into it now. I never even questioned the age gap, although he did when we first got together. He doesn't any more! lol

a 24 year old could be a grown up and mature enough...

at 24 years old I was grown up and mature enough for a relationship, a career, starting a business, having my own place and my own living... and I actually met someone who was 10 years older than me, so yes... it could definitely work with the right person, at the right moment too

Im 53 and young girls 20 and younger constantly get breathless, smile, and take second looks as i pass by. Today there was some sort of formal high school dance party at a resteraunt i ate at. 1 teen girl gasped near me as i walked by and another stared as i passed and continued to smile mischivously until i walked in the door.

I can't do it. Too young. I would feel like I would be taking advantage of him even subconsciously without even realizing it. Sure I would be friends with someone that much younger but dating? Nah that is too much of a difference.

Studies have proven couples with big age gaps tend to divorce more often.  For me, I try to avoid large age gaps as much as possible. I really wouldn't go anymore than 10 years younger or older.
