Honestly, it really annoys me.

When someone lies to me, it takes MONTHS (at least) to let it go. That doesn't mean I'm going to tell them every chance I get "you lied" or tell anyone else and ruin their reputation---it just means that for quite a while I will treat them differently. I've had some really bad experiences with people who've lied to me.
