It’s pretty normal for spouses to mimic each other but outside of that some people just try to adapt to the people around them. They might have different likes/desires that don’t match or maybe they just want to have good relationships with the people around them without it being too deep. The same reason it's easier for a psychopath to exploit people. Because the psychopath is not burdened by normal feelings of guilt or remorse.
Narcissists are this way. She knows exactly what a guys buttons are and how to push them for maximum affect. She doesn't need to be genuine. She just needs to look genuine.
Now if you're asking me why she's a narcissist. That I can't answer. Maybe it was observed behavior by her patents. This is common with women with no fathers or absent fathers. Maybe she didn't get enough hugs as a child. Maybe she is a psychopath or at least a sociopath.
