I don't get involved with any coworker as I feel like that can get messy. I'd get 2AM texts from unknown associates since as a manager I had to have my phone number in my signature on all emails... and noped out of all of them.

Well it is is prohibited manager have relationships with anyone or even coworkers date, my boyfriend asked the at the time GM "what if I wanted to date someone who worked here?" The GM said "anything outside of work is your business." (Obviously not a by the book GM who also kept andother employee who would buy drugs in the parking lot on break and show them to other employees like a 🏆.😆 But the GM "gave the okay". In corporate it's GM is in charge of other 3 managers (3 other managers: animal manager, merchandise manager, assistant manager). Assistant manager is in charge of everyone else in the store a. k. a. we are "work under" her. While my boyfriend is a manager, he isn't the GM or Assistant manager so I am not directly underneath him. That's where the not by the book GM " "made the acception" a. k. a. didn't follow policy.😆
