Should I just break up with him or waut and see if anything changes?

I have only been seeing my boyfriend of a few years once a week with a sleepover and a 1 weekday morning before he leaves for work at 10am. This has been going on the last 2/3 months due to his long weekends with the kids and his having to tend to multiple businesses. One biz is in another state so he has to go there.

He is a horrible communicator in relationships. It works because I communicate very well for both of us. He is also consumed with his business and himself.

So I told him this morning I'm not a weekly one night stand hit and run. I want to feel wanted and lately I'm feeling used. That if he doesn't want to be in this he needs to just end it and not keep it to get his sexual needs. I said put yourself in my place, most women would leave but I know you get consumed in other things.

I said he needs to make accommodations to see me twice a week at least. ( I'm good with 2x I'm very busy also)

That it IS possible he just isn't making it priority.

Last week he saw me almost break to tears because I found out he had an extra night but he went to meet old friends. Yet i guess he forgot because im only seeing him once this week also plus a morning. I understand he needs time for friends too but he didn't tell me until after the fact.

He responds saying nothing as usual.

he's going mmm, like he hears me, then he kept saying "I understand" like 5x.

That's all he said but this is typical relationship communication.

Since he didn't communicate anything at all should I wait and see if he makes any changes or just break up with him?

We have a 2 day weekend trip in December I was going to wait and see how much time he gives me over the holidays as a test because they are in the middle of the week.
