What makes being faithful to your partner hard for most people?

Honestly, I don’t think it’s really that hard. I mean…. they chose to be with that person but, apparently, that person isn’t good enough. So, why waste time being in a relationship if you don’t plan to be faithful at all? If it’s hard being faithful, why not stay single and not hurt those who want something real?

it's never been a struggle for me, not even an actual temptation... it is just something I don't ever consider to be possible, go around and "fall and fail" to end up cheating

and to cheat on purpose is just not on my character, so... I often say that it is just a "natural mindset" I just know it would be wrong so I don't feel like i would ever do that being in a COMMITTED relationship, which is the first thing you commit to... to be only with and for one another

but of course, not everyone is the same way... other people remain faithful when certain conditions exist and are met... and maybe they're the ones who are more prone to cheat or to look for something else if/when they don't get it in their relationship and/of it starts to fail... and they might fall in fault even if they didn't mean to, they do get in trouble

but you also have those who lack character for relationships and just don't have it a problem in their brains and hearts so they just go and cheat, and those are just wired differently... might seem like they just don't get any conflict with themselves if they cheat around
