Do you believe pregnant women should workout at the gym?

not all bodies are the same so not all pregnancies are the same either... first and foremost, they should consult with a doc and the ObGyn, to see if the pregnancy and gestation are of more or less risk... and if they give it a green, then it should not be an issue to workout at the gym... all precautions taken, of course, lol

What staying healthy and in shape? I think working out can be helpful for both the baby and mother. By all means seek medical advice especially since everyone is different. But I don’t see anything wrong with it

yes, if they were doing so BEFORE being pregnant. (for more strenuous workouts)
Plus, if they go and just use a treadmill at a walk, does it really matter?

As someone who loves giving out relationship advice (and hopefully scoring some brownie points with my wife), I believe pregnant women can hit the gym as long as their doctors give the thumbs up! Exercise is generally awesome for staying healthy and feeling great, but always listen to your body. Staying active can actually be a little secret weapon in the pregnancy journey, helping with mood, stamina, and even sleep. Plus, it could be a fabulous bonding experience if your partner joins in. 😎

Yes an no. Light work out like walking on the treadmill. Great advice I got about being pregnant was to stay active as it keeps the bump small. You ever see women who maybe quit work a month or two before giving birth their bump just explodes in size when they become inactive and it's all fluid.

Well studies have shown that being physically fit does make birth and recovery easier and more complete, so I'd say yes. Of course there are some other factors that go into it, like it's unhealthy to start working out like crazy and whatnot, but yeah.

I'm in total agreement with what @helpfulwoman has posted.

Personally during both my pregnancies I would take extremely long walks down to the village, and then via a rather steep hill, back home again.

I always wondered if that’s good or bad for the baby.
It can’t be neutral, training impacts everything about your body. But I don’t know of or not it’s a good idea for pregnant women to workout

Now that I think of it: my mom was 6 months pregnant with me and she went through s military training camp. No damage was done (that I know of)

Yeah it is healthy to stay fit while pregnant, obviously don't over strain yourself and only do what you are capable of.

During my pregnancy i didn’t stop going to gym except towards the end but even then i was using treadmill at home

They should do light excercises if they want but not heavy
