Loyalty is the one that matters the most. Watching our SO be blatantly disloyal, even when not actively cheating, is such a hit to the relationship. Like, it makes it impossible to feel true love and devotion.

I don't think men go into any relationship with a checklist- though I've thought I spoke for men as a representative only to find that it wasn't necessarily the case. Attraction is the result of a synthesis of factors that are probably not even all conscious and in some cases may be whitewashed to sound more socially acceptable. I'm not even sure I could enumerate my own favorites but there is no doubt that beauty is a part of it. Confidence a part. Intelligence and humor are important to me but I guess I'm listing what I require approaching a woman which may be different from what I want. So let's see, an intuitive sense of when to be playful and when to be serious. Sex is undoubtedly important but not the transactional type of sex I read about on here but a joy in it, a degree of willing to experiment. Someone who I can feel is on my side despite the fact that I am at least as fallible as anyone else ( something that I would of course reciprocate). Independence, I like a woman who has tastes that are somewhat different from mine since I enjoy new experiences. A degree of physical athleticism, like some ability to try new things. One thing that bugs the hell out of me is the change that occurs in early adolescence where one day you're willing to try anything that sounds fun then all of a sudden an ego develops that immediately goes into overdrive with judgement. It happens to everyone & is part of maturation but the downside is the sudden unwillingness to do anything new since you are afraid to look stupid,. The result is someone who only knows how to do what they learned before age 12 since they aren't willing to be part of a situation where they are new. Maybe sex would be a lot simpler if it was started before people developed the idea of having to be an expert in something in order to do it but that's way off the path. Someone who can think for themselves where there is no clique or family that are the arbiters of opinions.
Sorry,, I thought I could actually address the question and I'm rambling. I'd love to hear your answers to your question are. I've read and followed you for some time here and respect your opinions and think you have many of the qualities I've been trying to enumerate. Anyway, sorry for the ramble
