8. Safe space for vulnerability: yes, definitely. We want to be able to be vulnerable. We were taught from a very young age that boys don’t cry. It makes us build a shell around ourselves, pretending we’re tougher than we want to be. Being able to let down your guard is one of the best things about a steady relationship.

7. Physical intimacy: yes. Not just sex though, although that is an important part of it. It’s more about trust and complicity. Something a ‘friend with benefits’ will never give you. For me, that equals fooling around with someone, not committing yourself.

Loyalty honesty and respect and Love and lots of intimacy and affection 😋 Most men will leave a girl if the intimacy and affection fades away , I know I do , if intimacy and affection all of a sudden becomes an issue when it was never an issue before , and the relationship turns one sided , my ass is walking the other way.
