So long story short. My boyfriend and I (ages 27 + 28) and we have been together almost 7 years now.

We both had 2 days off and had plans to go Christmas shopping in a diff city and go to ikea in another city.

Basically we had finished shopping and were off to collect some wood my bfs dad ordered in the same city. When we arrived we were in a field and I was confused. He had surprised me and we were staying in a log cabin with a hot tub.

He had secretly packed my stuff and got some snacks and champagne. He said we were celebrating buying a house two years ago (the actual anniversary of that was about 1 week prior)

I had it in my head that he was going to propose but he didn’t. We have discussed it before and I want to get married at some point. We had a nice time and all and it was very romantic but a part of me is still disappointed. Is that unreasonable?
