This girl I’ve been talking to kissed someone whilst drunk, do I forgive her?

So the girl I’ve been seeing for two months went on a night out and got totally drunk. She was out with a friend who ditched her for some guy, and spent most of the night by herself trying to find her friend (who had gone home without her). I’ve been seeing and sleeping with this girl for two months but I haven’t asked her to be my girlfriend yet. She believes that, until we’re official, we are not exclusive. She is not entertaining anything with anyone sober.

The night in question, she was at a club extremely drunk and a guy kissed her. It lasted a few seconds and she immediately started crying afterwards. She doesn’t remember much of what else happened following it. She stayed in the club for a few more hours and got sober enough to get a cab home.

The next day, she wasn’t sure if the kiss did or didn’t happen. I saw her two and three days afterwards, we kissed, slept together, and had a nice time. The day after, she told me about the kiss.

She’s extremely sorry for it and I can understand that we’re not official, but I feel betrayed and hurt. What do you think I should do? Would you forgive her?

If you're too much of a chicken shit to ask her to be your girlfriend then you shouldn't feel offended. Also sounds like she should quit drinking if she can't maintain control of herself in public while drunk, before she wakes up in a stranger's bed, hospital bed, or jail. My friend had to dump his girlfriend because of her drinking problem. She went out drinking with her friends and wandered off after getting really hammered. She climbed into a drainage canal, fell down and scraped herself up and hit her head. Luckily her friends found her.

I think that you need to have the conversation about becoming exclusive. You obviously have feelings for her; and she probably has feelings for you. So you should become exclusive so this doesn't happen again.
