Do you think men and women handle this situation in different ways?

1 yMope around a good bit, feel very sad, think about her a lot, wish she was still around, at least the way she was when things twixt us were still great, probably cry a little, maybe get inspired to write a song or three.
Over the past 25 years, my heart has been run through a wringer to the point where, I'm not sure I even CAN feel heartbreak, anymore!!!
`01: After being together for 10 years, my fiance started cheating on me and couldn't even tell me for probably a year or two! I'm not a jealous guy so, when she said she had a FRIEND, David, he WAS a friend, as far as I knew!! I trusted her implicitly!!
Early `05: I'd FINALLY found my best friend in life about 18 months before and loved her VERY much!! We were like brother & sister!! And, the day we were supposed you get together to write and possibly record some music together, her asshole boyfriend took her away from me and wouldn't let her have anything to do with me ever again!! That one hit me REALLY hard. Almost 2 years later, we made contact again and she was very happy to hear from me and said I could talk to her anytime I liked, she didn't care WHAT he said or thought! About a year later, she divorced him and eventually had him tossed in jail for molesting their kids!! She & I are still best friends.
Jan. `06: Dad died and I cried my eyes out at the funeral.
July `16, a week after my b-day, mom died. Because of the insane shit my ex-sisters did to mom & I, even AT her funeral, I was just too pissed off to cry or feel much of anything else!! About 2 years later, they saw to it I lost my house and about 3/4 of my possessions. Mom wanted ME to keep the house!!
Christmas `24, my 2nd fiance got severely pissed at me for reasons she completely made up and broke up with me! I WAS VERY hurt and sad to have lost her but I was also VERY pissed at her and felt like that was it!! My love for her was almost completely gone! After a few days, we reconciled and got back together. 20 days later, JUST as I was about to get back to where I was, as far as being in love with her, as I was before Christmas, she did it to me again and just left me a 2nd time 3 days ago!! Amazingly, I still love her and want her back but because of all the pain she's inflicted upon me, as well as those other incidents, falling IN LOVE with her again just might take a good while!! She's got her work cut out for her in that department!! And, if she DOES come back and EVER does this to me again, WE ARE DONE!!! Three strikes and SHE'S OUT!!!
I'm SURE I CAN still feel (and fall in) love again (I mean, with someone else) but, it just might take a while, the next time10 Reply

Ah, heartbreak! 😢 My aim is to guide you through those stormy love seas. Everyone's got their own vibe—some cry buckets, others hit the gym or binge-watch romcoms while munching popcorn. Men and women might process heartache differently, but it's all about finding what helps you heal. Dive into self-care, pour your feelings into a journal, or chat with someone you trust. Healing takes time, darling, but brighter days await! 🌞❤️

Never be a sitting duck for anyone , if someone no longer wants to be by your side , let them Go , you can’t force someone to love you all you can do is Love yourself. When my ex left me and broke my heart , I focused on myself and did the things that made me happy as much as possible. I refuse to sit and cry over someone that gives up on me. If they truly loved me , they wouldn’t have walked away period and broke your heart. So move on from them as soon as possible. Understand you are single again and you can do whatever makes you happy. I enjoy drinking some beer with friends and mingling with girls’ unless I already have another girl that’s been hinting to me that she wants me , I will go and have fun with her , without rushing into a new relationship, but I will go and play twister with her

m 1 ySinking ship? Time to meet the good old friends!
Cause I have a loooooot of words and tears to drop somewhere, actually in their ears, that's tradition. We all know that. We all know that I'm going to not make much sense in my takes, they won't either, but that's not the point. The point is to let go whatever there is to let go.
Until exhaustion.

I don't see any reason why men and women would, at core, proceed differently. Emotions are not gendered. Though people can be veeeery constrained by some cultural assignment, and that would create gender based reactions.
Let the feelings out if that is by talking to a friend or crying or something else. Also giving myself time to heal because the beginning is the hardest.

1 yMusic helps. And this is from a movie and and a bit evil but it works for me. Finding someone who looks just like her and sleeping with her. Seems to break the despair cycle.

1 yFirst, I change my relationship status on Facebook, turn on some songs like “You’re No Good” by Van Halen, “Picture To Burn” by Taylor Swift and “Pallbearer” by Josh Turner and I delete all the pictures on my phone.

1 yThe last time I was heartbroken I went shopping, vacation and spent the money I was going to give to my ex to start a business.

Because he was broke, he lost his job and also lost his residence permit. The only way for him to stay was to open a business (not a small business) or marry to local people. So i thought i can help him, secretly planning to open a restaurant. But he also had secret plans lol 😂 marry to local girl 😂😂

1 yWhy would the answer not be cry?
Your heart cannot be broken without strong emotionally attached feelings in most cases.

1 yNo idea. I've never been there, at least not romantically. I was devastated after my mom passed, and then again after my dad, but never over a broken romance. If both are not committed it is a waste of time and effort, so why lament its end?
