After hearing a friend’s scenario I’m curious

What’s your opinion on a girlfriend doing her boyfriends laundry when they don’t live together?

What’s your opinion about that when:

Girlfriend never did laundry before. Couple brakes up because girlfriend cheated. Couple gets back together and is doing boyfriends laundry now and gets upset if he doesn’t bring it when she says to bring it. Only been back together for a month or so

I mean… don’t go nuts worrying about it. If he sleeps over and a set of his boxers needs to be tossed into the wash with your stuff is it REALLY that big a deal? Wouldn’t he do the same at his place if you slept over? I wouldn’t suddenly run around picking up his dry cleaning and such, but the occasional item when it makes sense? Why not?

I agree with that, but I’m what I’m talking about here is her telling him to bring who’s whole laundry. Not just the occasional thing.

I love doing laundry so I've basically always done my husband's laundry for him. Weird in this situation tho cuz the cheating and they aren't living together

Number one let’s address the cheating that’s one thing that shouldn’t be tolerated. But let’s put that aside… Relationships may look different for different people sone people do acts of service to show their love for another person.

It’s odd if they aren’t living together. Since she cheated on him he is probably making her do his laundry as a punishment for cheating on him , or it’s her way of saying she is sorry and trying to regain his love and trust

i think the chores should be split fairly. ideally in a way that everyone does the jobs that annoy them least. for me for example i hate folding laundry but i don't mind hanging it to dry. so with a partner i always hope to find these things that maybe they don't find so bad so they can do it.

House chores are shared. If something needs to be done the person who notices gets on it. Including laundry. The machines do all the work... We all help cook, we all help clean up. No lazy people in my home, thank goodness.

I always do all the laundry in the house. And put away my husband laundry.
